There's something about that cow costume. It makes my kids RUN, and run FAST. We have never seen Jamesy go like that. He was so thirsty after running around trick or treating. I tried to get him to go outside after stopping at home for a minute, and he said, "No Mommy, APPLE JUICE!" At first, he was giving away his candy (much like at the NDSU parade, when he gave away all the candy he got to a girl sitting next to us). He quickly learned to say trick or treat, and receive. At heart though, I think Jamesy prefers the gift of giving. That is just James.

Who said I can't be Superman?
Anna's first pop song fave, Hannah Montana's "Who said?" So Anna was Superman for Halloween. Not Supergirl, Superwoman, but Superman. We thought she might change her mind at the last minute, and demand to be Cinderella, but she stuck to her original decision to be a superhero.
